Miles Jordan's original hometown is Chandler, Arizona, but he has roots in Nashville, Tennessee. His master's thesis will be focused on observing zooplankton grazing and top-down control of phytoplankton in Baffin Bay. What drew Miles to study at TAMU-CC/HRI was the hands-on learning environment that is emphasized through the research done at HRI, as well as the guidance and support from the staff.
Miles enjoys reading or relaxing on the beach in his spare time, working out, and riding his bike. Miles is interested in furthering his knowledge of coastal ecosystem processes, and his future goal is to work at a NOAA Laboratory.
