Kalie Tovar

Kalie is an undergraduate student in the College of Science and Engineering at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, pursuing a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science with a concentration in coastal and marine systems. She is a student worker in the Coastal Conservation and Restoration Lab, where she helps analyze samples. She finds motivation through continuously learning and looking for connections between anthropogenic activities and their effects on the surrounding environment. In the future, she hopes to conduct her own research and contribute to the science community, protecting the environment she loves.
