Jensen Smith

Throughout her upbringing in South Lake Tahoe, California, Jensen was always interested in marine life. Her undergraduate studies began at Humboldt State University, but her desire to study Gulf of Mexico marine life led to her to transfer to Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.

What Jensen enjoys most about her work as a Research Associate with the Fisheries & Ocean Health group is the opportunity to learn something new every day. When she’s not studying or working in the lab, Jensen enjoys spending her time outdoors both on and in the water.
