Adriana Campos Reza '04 is the Education Coordinator at the Harte Research Institute. A Coastal Bend native and proud alum of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, Adriana brings more than 20 years of experience in informal science education, where she has specialized in connecting diverse audiences to the beauty and importance of the marine world.
Drawn to HRI’s mission of advancing the long-term sustainable use and conservation of the Gulf Coast, she is excited to contribute her expertise in science communication and community engagement. In her role, Adriana will develop and lead programs that inspire curiosity, promote stewardship, and make marine science accessible to learners of all ages. She especially enjoys seeing students and community members build a personal connection to the coast through hands-on, place-based experiences.
Outside of work, Adriana enjoys exploring the shore, birdwatching, and sharing her love of the ocean with her family. She is passionate about uplifting women in STEM and creating inclusive pathways for future scientists. Looking ahead, she hopes to expand HRI’s educational reach and inspire the next generation of ocean stewards who will continue to care for the Gulf Coast.
