Harte Research Institute Program for Educators

Bringing the Gulf Coast to Your Classroom

🌊 Welcome, Educators!

At the Harte Research Institute (HRI), we believe education is key to ocean conservation. Our goal is to support teachers, homeschoolers, and informal science educators by providing free, engaging, and scientifically accurate content that connects students to the Gulf Coast and empowers them to protect it.

Whether you're looking for a guest speaker, hands-on materials, or ready-to-use curriculum, you're in the right place!
