Alexandra Prouse, Ph.D. is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Center for Sportfish Science
and Conservation at the Harte Research Institute. Her research interests center on using multi-tracer approaches to answer ecological questions on inter- and intra-basin scales, particularly for marine fishes.
Prior to arriving at HRI, Alexandra earned her Ph.D. and B.S. in Marine Biology from Texas A&M University. Her dissertation research investigated the trophic ecology and contaminant body burdens of marine predators at the global scale, with an emphasis on dolphinfish, tunas, and billfishes.
