Sharks in the Park at Whataburger Field

This year’s Shark Week community celebration will feature a new twist!

In 2025, we will be celebrating Sharks in the Park at Whataburger Field on July 24 when the hometown Corpus Christi Hooks take on Amarillo Sod Poodles Baseball.Along with the game, the event will feature shark researchers from HRI’s Center for Sportfish Science and Conservation, as well as shark-themed giveaways and games throughout the contest.
