Green Infrastructure Tour at 2025 Rockport Ecosystems Summit

The tour will show how the City of Rockport is using green infrastructure to reduce flooding and improve water quality through innovative stormwater strategies.

The tour includes four stops, where experts will explain how each installation supports a cleaner, more resilient coastal environment. The Clean Coast Texas Program has funded and designed numerous projects across the region and wanted to provide an educational opportunity for residents to ask questions.

The tour will bring awareness to the public about green infrastructure best management practices so they have a better understanding of why these projects are being implemented and how they benefit the community.

Note for attendees: There will be buses at the Rockport Service Center that will take attendees to the stops and bring them back. Attendees can park at the Service center to board a bus or drive your own vehicle and meet the tour at the sites. Please be at the Rockport Service Center by 8:45am if you plan to take the bus.
