Benthic Invertebrate Taxonomy, Metagenomics, and Bioinformatics Workshop (BITMaB)

The BITMaB workshop provides insights into a new technique using DNA markers to characterize diversity and composition of marine benthic communities. It is designed to expose students and researchers to all steps in the analytical process, including sample preparation, taxonomy of common benthic meiofauna and macrofauna taxa of the Gulf of Mexico, metagenomics, and bioinformatics.
