Join us for the September Wetlands Workshop at the Oso Bay Preserve and Learning Center where we will be learning about oysters, how they shape conditions in local estuaries and what conditions oysters require for survival. Hands-on activities will include an oyster dissection, exploring salinity with refractometers, oyster reef community live tank observation, and an oyster anatomy activity. Participants will also learn about the important role that restoration plays in local oyster reef communities.
