Jen is an M.S. student in the Coastal and Marine System Science program at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi working under Dr. Jennifer Pollack in the Coastal Conservation and Restoration Ecology Lab. Her thesis will focus on the restoration and resilience of Serpulid worm reefs and associated macrofaunal community in Baffin Bay, TX.

Jen earned her B.S. in Environmental Studies from Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania and completed an undergraduate senior honors thesis on the impact of recreational boat noise on oyster larvae settlement. Her studies with oysters led her to the Haskin Shellfish Research Lab at Rutgers University, and eventually to Dr. Pollack's lab. Jen hopes her thesis will inform future large-scale restoration efforts on Serpulid worm reefs.
